The Park - Tuesday
The spar yesterday had helped for awhile and the ache of the bruises and minor contusions was helping today at least a little. It gave both he and Fjord a chance to breathe but before too long the irritation and aggression had come back and on top of that, the worry. Not for himself. If he kicked the crap out of someone for being an overbearing, insensitive, heartless jerk - well, Fenris wasn't going to wake up when this was over and feel bad about it, now, was he?
Fjord would. Fenris knew that. Of the two of them, one tried to be the calm, urbane and amiable sort, to make himself seem smaller and not a threat - and it was definitely not Fenris. He hated this. He knew it was something outside of themselves influencing him. He'd had his feelings and emotions fucked with enough in his life to tell and part of the aggression was his brain rebelling and fighting against it because he was free now, dammit. His emotions were his and nothing was allowed to change that.
He took himself to the park and left Fjord the hotel room to get ready for class. The park was usually empty this time of day so he went for a walk. There were always the ducks to yell or scowl at if he felt the need. They didn't seem to mind or care. They were, after all, ducks.
