Unlike last year, this week had been very... satisfying, let's say, from Liam's point of view (concussion incident notwithstanding). But eventually he had to leave the apartment to at least make a token appearance at the station before the dance tonight, where he'd ostensibly be helping Verity chaperone.

"No ma'am, I can't arrest raccoons for public indecency."

"Because they're raccoons. Wild animals." Wild animals that he had on occasion arrested for brewing without a license, but details. "They're supposed to be naked." He might have understood the call, at least a little, if the complaint had been in regards to the fact that the raccoons were also clearly feeling the effects of the pollen.

"If they were from a species that usually goes around clothed, then yes, you'd have a point. But just because you say you've seen one raccoon wear a t-shirt doesn't mean they actually do, as a species, on a regular basis."

"No, I don't know why a raccoon would wear a t-shirt if they don't have to. Maybe they were cold?"
