Covent Garden Flowers - Sunday

Fenris hadn't even solidified fully when Tickles pounced on him. It lead to a hurried sort of juggling to catch the kittenwillow before he could fall to the floor. "What on Earth are you doing?" Fenris chided him, cuddling the little critter protectively, "You know you shouldn't leap until I'm in the room." He helped Tickles take his perch on a shoulder and gave the store a wary look.

Everything seemed to be behaving. There were some pre-made bouquets with stupid little flat, tasseled hats in them. Fenris dearly hoped that wasn't some new horrible fashion. Not that he followed fashion, but if he was forced to look at people wearing those all over town, it would annoy him.

It had been a very strange month and he was out of sorts. He would absolutely not, under pain of torture, admit that he missed Kia. She'd been a quite charming little thing and while he didn't want children, nor could he even fathom how that parentage mix had happened.. he hadn't minded having her around. It wasn't a sentiment he could even voice and that, too, had him out of sorts.

So if he was paying a extra attention to the plants and cuddling the kittenwillow a bit more than he usually did...

Wouldn't comment on it if you have any sense of self-preservation.

May Day was coming up on Wednesday. Hernando went to the flower shop to arrange flowers. Like all the surprises he did, he ensured it was started on a Sunday. He knew who read the notes on Monday. He was very well aware of that.

He entered the flower shop and smiled a little. "Good afternoon, Fenris. I have not seen you in quite some time. Have you been well?"
