Trooper Station; Monday [05/06].
Out of all the dumb things on this island, Rosa was pretty sure that the dumbest had to be the slew of after-crisis paperwork. Most of it didn't even make sense, all of it was tedious, and she was pretty sure half of it just disappeared after it was filed, because if every crisis produced as much paperwork as she'd gone through with the handful of events that she'd been here with so far, they would all be drowning in old files. This time around, though, it was particularly frustrating, because not even much had even happened on the island, just that weird dome and some people getting bitten, really, so she was firmly of the mindset that they shouldn't even deal with half of this stuff; the Baltimore police (or the government agents covering the whole thing up) should.
Which is why Rosa was spending less time actually filling out paperwork and filing it and more time actually taking that paperwork, packing it up with a particular determination and irritation, and slapping on a bunch of shipping labels that would send them all right back to Baltimore where she felt they belonged.
Which likely meant those boxes were going to be returned right back to the Trooper Station before the week was out.
And next Monday, Rosa would send them right back again.
It was definitely going to be a thing.
