Amaya was trying to take it easy at the forge today. She really was trying. But it had been a week, and she was starting to feel much better, it really was about time she started getting back into the swing of things, wasn't it? Well, maybe. She did understand that jumping back into her current projects without being tip-top shape would only be detrimental to the final project, so she just cleaned up a little at first, taking some extra time to have a look at what her students did yesterday and making notes of the stengths and weakness of the final results, then setting them aside and going for a new piece of metal and shaping and cutting and smoothing it out for a pommel. Bit less hammering, a little more fussy work, something that needed to get done eventually.

And then maybe she would hammer out some of the steel intended for the decoration on the pommel. A little bit. Gently. It was still okay if she hammered gently, right?

By the end of the day, she was in full-fledged work mode, sweating, dripping, aching, all pretense of taking it easy blown completely out of the water, but hey. She tried!
