Fandom Post Office, May 14 (Tuesday)
"Well then!"
The tortoises who usually handled the ground-rate package delivery were gone today, replaced by iguanodons, but really, it was probably better than if they'd been replaced by giant sloths instead. A couple of pterosaurs wheeled in the sky over the post office, apparently waiting for any express parcels that might need to be delivered today.
There were no butterflies occasionally swarming out of the mailboxes, though. Large beetles, on the other hand -- there were plenty of those. It was a pretty enough sight, to be sure, but Éponine found the loud noise they made with their wings a bit grating.
Ah well. Today would be interesting when she went out to make her delivery rounds, she suspected.
