Atlas Gym, Monday (5/20)
Not that it had happened, but if anyone had ever given Beau a hard time about her near-compulsive habit of getting to work without actually touching the surface of the street whenever possible, after today she'd just be able to point out that all that practice turned out to be super useful. She'd managed to get there via the rooftops, just in time to start her shift, and that was even after oversleeping and getting her entire morning routine started late.
And of course half the gym was underwater when she got inside to start setting up. The open exercise floor seemed to have the worst of it, but hey, if you wanted to do a high-resistance aerobic workout that worked out -- ha -- pretty nicely.
Her parkour course seemed to be a lost cause but, well, just getting around town was going to be plenty of practice at that for the next however long anyway.
