Trooper Station; Monday [05/20].
So this was fun.
At least dinosaurs were kind of cool. Who in their right mind would think massive flooding was cool? Well, she supposed Shark Boy would be able to get a pass on that one, but she should definitely be allowed to be irked about the fact that she'd woken up after a nice quiet weekend to herself to find water in her apartment on the second floor. And, yeah, gondola was totally the way she wanted to get to work today, and she was totally stoked about the water levels in the trooper station being about ankle deep. Just deep enough to be annoying, not deep enough to use as an excuse not to be there.
She splashed her way through the water to her desk, cleared off a spot for her to put up her feet on it once she sat down, and glared up at the ceiling. "You owe me another pair of boots," she told it, because these ones were going to be ruined now.
And now she just sort of wondered what she was expected to do today, considering the conditions, beyond just sending out a few troopers to go around and just check on everyone and make sure they were okay.
When Ralph came out with the scuba gear, she almost pointed out that that might be overkill, but, then again, she knew where she was.
