"Where the fuck did all the weights go?"
Hi, Beau kind of hated the island's theme this week in general -- not that she was likely to ever say so out loud to anyone, but she kind of felt like the whole aesthetic of the place looked like she felt a lot of the time, and that was both super melodramatic and an uncomfortable level of conscious self-awareness, so, surprise, she was on the cranky side in general.
. . . not that this was unusual at all, but even for her it was a notable increase in crankiness.
But coming in to work this morning and finding half the equipment had either disappeared or been cannibalized for parts just added a whole extra level to the crankiness, you know? Even most of the basic office supplies in the desk seemed to be gone, and what was someone going to do with that many pencils anyway, build a house? How would that even work?
Whatever. There was still at least some equipment left for people to use, and the locker rooms seemed safe enough despite the flickering lights and the fact that there might be teddy bears arranged in compromising positions in some of the lockers. Also there might have been a skeleton in one of the toilet stalls. So.
It was just going to be one of those days, and Beau was going to take out all her annoyance with it on one of the heavy bags, because at least those seemed to be intact, if incredibly . . . weathered.
[OOC: True story, I was going to take a bunch of screenshots of my Fallout 76 vault dweller who I might have made to look like Beau, and then I got distracted trying to scavenge items for crafting, and then I switched over to Fallout 4 so I wouldn't have to deal with other players while building ridiculous houses out of pencils and tin cans, and there went all of yesterday, oops.
. . . anyway the gym is open, and also please look at my girl being an absolute badass and complete dumbass at the same time from last week's episode, which was probably the highlight of a rough week for me.]
