Monday: Covent Garden Flowers
Everything was dead or almost so. Nell would have cried if she hadn't been so horrified. Instead she watered all the plants and then went around from plant to plant trying to heal them all as best she could. Finally she tried charging up a huge bag of soil and then put some of it in each plant to give them the best chance she could.
She barely managed to get soil into the last plants before the energy expended overwhelmed her and she collapsed.
When she woke up in the middle of the night she was ravenously hungry and still exhausted. She was afraid to try and make her way back to the dorms in the dark, so she curled up in the corner on some bags of soil and went back to sleep. She'd stop and get a ton of food on her way back to the dorms in the morning.
