Syndulla Scrap; Tuesday [05/28].
Well,, Wayne had finally gotten around to getting himself some work to do around here, though there really wasn't a whole lot of work involved with it at the moment. Still, it was better than nothing, and Wayne had managed to get a few good scraps with some of those ugly bugs and big mole rat things on his way here, which wasn't a bad start to the day at all. And he got to work outside, mostly, which meant he could have a dart while he worked, too, so it almost felt even a little homey, if you ignored the fact that he was currently in the middle of some post-nuclear shithole instead of a nice farm in the Ontario countryside.
So, once he got there, he took note of the chompy bits in their pen and whether or not it looked like they had enough...scrap metal or whatever it was they liked to eat...for them, and then went to wrap some guaze around his bloody knuckles. Once that was taken care of, he looked around a little, figuring out just what to do now that he was there.
Hera'd said inventory was a thing, sure, and he'd thought he was real good at moving maybe one piece over there for a little while before deciding to move it back, but, mostly, he decided to go picking through some of the scrap and figuring out which ones might look like they could still be salvages from all that rust and whatever. He was pretty sure some of them were beyond fixing, but he'd managed to find a few things to settle down with and get to buffing and shining and maybe repurposing, in between moments of going to check on the chompy bits and playing a bit of fetch with some rebar.
