Yeah, you know what? Prompto decided that, after shooting down a good number of nasty bugs on his way to the shelter today and then having to remind himself that, even though some of the animals inside the shelter seemed to be just as nasty, he should not shoot them, he was going to try to be positive about it and look on the bright side. After all, after being exposed to all of these animals this week, there was no way the daemons back home could be a whole lot worse.

Seriously, though, if anyone wanted to adopt some seriously zombie-looking birds today, Prompto would be more than happy to help just to get those things out of here. They were seriously so gross.

And he was honestly a little worried about tomorrow when Sidon got a load of those fish. Dude was probably gonna blame himself or something, figuring he hadn't been cleaning the tanks well enough.

Well, at least the puppies were normal this week, which meant most of Prompto's shift was definitely being spent with a nice, cuddly, not-at-all-gross puppy in his arms, trying not to think about gross birds and gross fish and gross whatever was probably lurking in that vault down there that he could have done without knowing was there, especially since...when did they even have a basement? Gross.
