It looked like the island was back to nor -- to its usual state today, and Beau was so relieved about it that she was kind of mad about the fact that she was that relieved. Which totally made sense, shut up.

That didn't mean she didn't start her shift off by doing a full walkthrough of the gym and making sure all the equipment was present, accounted for, and functioning, because that was exactly what she did, and that itemized list of all the equipment and the condition each piece was in was something that just happened to have been on hand and not something she'd been painstakingly putting together for a few weeks now, okay?

But no, everything looked fine and nothing was missing, and also the gym didn't look like a decrepit tetanus nightmare any more, so that was good.

Also, there was a continental breakfast bar up front today, in case anyone wanted to just . . . enjoy being able to pick up free, non-irradiated food again.
