The Trooper Station was silent today. Which Liam didn't notice right away, because he'd been a little preoccupied with texting Street as he came in and got settled at his desk. He started going through reports, frowning in confusion at a detail in one of them. He figured he'd better call Calvin in to clarify what he'd wrote.

"..."

He opened his mouth, but no sound came out.

There was, however, a letter-sized piece of cardstock that simply said "CALVIN!" on it. Where the hell had that come from? He picked it up, examining it from all angles.

Calvin appeared in the doorway, holding a card of his own.

YES, BOSS?

Liam just stared. Calvin flipped the card to the one behind it. WE'RE EMBRACING THE AESTHETIC, it said.

The Trooper Station was open, if somewhat... silent-film-ish.
