Ahhh, the sheer quaintness of it would never cease to amused him, even though he'd clearly been at this for a while. But the mere thought of him, Prompto Besithia, son of the great Verstael Besithia, mastermind behind the entire Niflheim Magitek infantry, would be working...in a pet shop.
Adorable, really.
And while the inclination was strong to consider each and every one of these animals as excellent candidates to further his father's groundbreaking research with daemons and Starscourge, he was finding, again and again, each and every shift, that the only experiments these little dudes were qualified for were testing the thresholds of snuggling.
Although, you had to admit, daemons dogs would be both terrifying and totally awesome!
"Hey, dudes, hey!" Prompto chuckled, failing to fend off a particularly adorable snuggle attack to his face. "Watch the glasses!"
You'd think with a mad scientist dad, they could have come up with some way to work on fixing stuff like video-game-induced poor vision, and Verstael said he was working on something he'd be more than happy to test out on Prompto, but not until he was eighteen, which was, like, a total bummer. Give him those bad-ass daemon powers already, jeez!
