The island was like basically all the worst parts of Nar Shaddaa, the parts where the taxi drivers would park so far from the platform that if you wanted to get into the damn car, you had to basically risk falling to your doom, or the parts where you could see that thingie over there and you really wanted to get to it, but that would involve, like, hugging a wall and scooting across some pipes or something and did you really need it? Did you, now?

Only with mushrooms. Which was bonus weird. Almost as weird as showing up to find the junkyard on top of a giant mushroom, too. Almost. Though at least the bitey bits seemed to be having a great time. Sort of. They were bouncing in place, looking around with eyes that they hadn't had before, just taking in the whole world. Of mushrooms.

The trade-off was that they seemed to be chained to big heavy blocks around the scrapyard.

"Okay," Vette sighed, rummaging around for an axe or a welding torch or something to try to weaken the chains with. "The first thing I'm doing is getting you off that thing, Rusty."

She had no idea what step two was, considering all the scrap was just blocks today. But step one was at least a start, right?
