Troopa Station, Friday
Liam didn't want to talk about the number of tries it took him to get to the station today.
(It was like, two, but he was a perfectionist.)
Or the fact that he'd almost kicked one of his Troopers in the face. Calvin had been awfully graceful about it, admitting it was hard to tell the difference between Troopers who'd been turned into turtle-things and the actual turtle-things that were going around attacking people.
In any case, he was here, inside, where the sun couldn't get him again, and fielding calls from outraged residents about beanstalks sprouting in their yards out of nowhere.
"Have you tried climbing it?"
"No, seriously, I know how it sounds, but you might actually be pleasantly surprised if you do."
It was gonna be a long day.
