"Evening." Peter waved at everybody. "I figured we might as well keep on with the more-or-less-topical movies, so we're watching animation tonight. This one's silly but also pretty poignant, and I hope you like it. Mostly I've found modern animated films to be more traumatic than the things aimed at adults for some reason, but this one's not too bad. And there's snacks and drinks as usual, so help yourselves."

He pressed play.

Enjoy the chips and popcorn. If there were ever shrimp chips, there aren't now.

Wonder if it exists in this reality and what the fish are replaced with.

"You would have thought this whole movie should have disappeared," Seivarden muttered, brushing chips crumbs from her shirt.

Peter shrugged. "Maybe? I don't pretend to understand how the island works."

Breq found herself humming along to the theme song, which earned her a glare from Seivarden, one which she ignored.

Peter just smiled, glad someone was enjoying it.
