One Rey figured out she would be able to be here for longer than she expected, she'd decided she should hit the ground running and get things settled as soon as possible so she didn't have to worry about it. This meant things like having to find somewhere to stay. She'd mostly always had small spaces to herself, which she had kind of assumed she'd find here, too, so she maybe took an apartment without looking at it, thinking whatever would be fine. Which is was- it was also probably the biggest apartment in the building and Rey had no idea why anyone would ever need all those rooms. So that was going to be an adventure.

The job was easier, getting her old job back on her old day. She was spending a lot of it refamiliarizing herself with the place, looking for things that had changed or moved in the last year, or if there were any projects she should jump in on. It was kind of nice that after everything, there was still one thing she could do like she used to.

Maybe felt a little weird, too.
