Furnado Animal Shelter, Tuesday
When Zack made his way into the shelter for his shift today, he had to kind of stop and stare.
He had no idea where all of the animals had gotten the materials to make them, but there were definitely guinea pigs and fancy rats and an assortment of other small critters marching around their enclosures in protest, with little signs saying things like, EQUAL RIGHTS FOR SQUIRRELS, and YOU CAN'T BUY ACORNS WITH RUM.

"I totally missed something, didn't I?"
In fairness, that was not a new state of being for Zack.
He watched the protest-in-miniature for a few minutes in bemusement, and then put a NOW HIRING sign in the window. Probably the only sign in the shop right now that wasn't being used to petition for squirrel rights.
