Luke's, Wednesday
Regina came in to check on her diner full of trepidation. It was a new semester up at the school, apparently, and there were new people on the island, and if anything would make her staff go the extra mile on weird, she had a feeling it would be new people.
Everything seemed fine, though. Normal even.
"Don't worry," the cook told her, after the third time she came through the kitchen to eye them all suspiciously. "I'm sure something will break or someone will get turned into an animal eventually."
"Enjoy the normal while we've got it," the dishwasher suggested.
The busboy ran past, wearing a fancy chef's hat and carrying a fire extinguisher. "EVERYTHING'S FINE!" he screamed, and flung himself into the freezer.
"See?"
