A couple weeks ago Rey had tripped up a little in training, and it's bothered her ever since. Maybe "tripped up" wasn't right. Maybe "caught up in her own head" was. But since then she'd had something sort of click to tell her she'd been looking at it wrong, so this morning she headed out to the preserve and found a spot to work.

She didn't really get all the jumps and leaps and everything, at least not outside of what she normally did, so she knew she must have looked like an idiot to start.

She knew how to do this, she just hadn't tried it yet.

So she tried another tack, taking a deep breath and taking a running start through the woods, trusting that she wouldn't trip, and she didn't, trusting that at the right time she could launch herself over a fallen log that she shouldn't have been able to clear safely, and she did. She rolled into a somersault and popped back up to her feet, about a yard away from an alot of trees, who startled.

"Oh! You're fine!" Rey assured it. "You're fine, I promise!"

Maybe this kind of practice would have to wait in favor of trying to un-scare an alot.
