Look at Eric showing up two weeks in a row like some kind of responsible business owner!

It didn't have anything to do what Lucifer had said last week because screw that guy. (No really, screw that guy. Eric highly recommended it.)

The axe-throwing was open, the DJ wasn't openly terrified for once, and Tiny was behind the bar.

Eric was around, but he wasn't serving you anything, thanks.

"I'll have a whiskey," Lucifer said, and left a pregnant pause.

Tiny looked at him with some kind of horror.

"...And your piano."

"Tiny has a piano?" Eric drawled.

"There's no piano in your bar?"

Lucifer made an extremely disappointed noise.

Wait, actually, that was disapproval.

"No, we have a DJ because it isn't 1790 any more," Eric said dryly.

"No, apparently it's 1980."

"Not if you use the DJ ironically," Eric said.

"That's the 1990s," Lucifer said dryly.

"The 90s are cool again," Eric said, making a face. "Not that they were that great the first few go arounds..."

"Just because people are wearing midriff-baring tops again, god bless them, doesn't mean parking a DJ in your club without live entertainment makes it a bastion of modernity," Lucifer said, snickering. "Ah, don't worry. I'll come back in thirty years, when you've finally discovered 'Old Town Road'."

Eric made another face. "The Gangnam Style of this current five minutes. Pass."

"You own a night club for humans," Lucifer said dryly. "This current five minutes is where you should be living. It's half the fun."

"I'll play it, but only if you do to the dance," Eric said. "For the humans."

[my_own_advocate]

"Aw, are you trying to embarrass me?" Lucifer said, chuckling as he spun towards the DJ. "You should really have that toxic masculinity of yours checked out; my therapist tells me it's quite the killer."

"You go to a therapist?" Eric replied, arching an eyebrow.

"My club is in Los Angeles," Lucifer pointed out dryly.

Hey, it kept him from having to do anything to that noise.

"So your club came with a therapist," Eric guessed.

[my_own_advocate]

"No, but that's actually an excellent idea," Lucifer mused. "For the City of Angels, at least."

"See?" Eric said, reaching behind the bar for a bottle of O Positive, "I'm not as terrible at this as you think."
