Syndulla Scrap; Tuesday [09/17].
Wanye got to the scrapyard for work that day, fresh out of shop class and really ready to do something productive, but the bitey bits seemed to have a different plan in store for him. One of them had managed to bust through the pen while he was getting real deep into some engine work on that snowmobile, and so one minute, he was all up in some transmissions, and the next, he was being surrounded by sentient metal bits with sharp, pointy, potentially-tentanus-dealing teeth. Clearly, this needed to be taken care of first.
Well. Pitter-patter. It's like Cesar Milan says--exercise, discipline, and affection, in that order.
So now, instead of working on the snowmobile, Wayne was spending his time leading a flock of bitey bits up and down the pathways of the scrapyard in a good set of sprints and dashes, with the occasional break for tossing bits of metal at them to go chase after and catch, and, after that, when they were good and exercised out, they'd have a nice stern talking-to about how not to go breakin' down their pen, and then...cuddles, he s'posed, though he wasn't sure how cuddly the bitey bits were likely to be. Pets, at least, and a lot of talk about them being such good bos.
And hopefully, he'd still have enough time at the end of all that to get around to mending that pen, but that wasn't no fuss, mendin' pens he could do in his sleep.
