Caritas- Tuesday
Kitty walked in to work today and found the zombies holding picket signs on the stage.
"Oh, right, still gotta solve that," she said, and ended up at a table with them and Tino, much like she had with Steve and the squirrels last week, and tried to get their demands.
Apparently what they wanted was a reality show and better duct tape for when their limbs flew off. Kitty... didn't know what to do with either of those things, so the band was back onstage with signs while she was behind the bar, trying to Google how to get someone a reality show when the zombie moment in Hollywood had kinda faded.
Lexi was asleep at home.
[Idk. Open!]

This time around, the bar at Caritas won out. By a hair.
Possibly because Rosa figured there was a marginally better chance of getting her request filled here than any other random bar.
"Can you just...put...all the alcohol in a trough and I'll just....stick my face in it?"
Kitty did the radio for Mondays. Rosa figured this request would not at all come as a surprise.

"I don't have a trough," Kitty said sympathetically. "I do have a fishbowl."
no subject
A pause.
"Possibly three. And a glass of water, because, apparently, I need to stay hydrated."
no subject
It always felt slightly ridiculous to pull a fishbowl out from behind the bar.
"Anything in particular you want, or should I use tequila and maybe throw in a mixer?"
no subject
Tequila was always a bad place to start, Rosa.
But that was also the point.
no subject
Slightly.
"You going to be okay?"
She wouldn't ask and more than that, but she had to check.
no subject
And did you honestly expect an answer other than that, Kitty?
But, she did at least add something suspiciously like a sigh, shaking her head. "I knew those few normal weeks were going to really just build us up toward something particularly dumb..."

"Okay, but," she said, "I hope you know that I'm taking that as permission to punch a few guests this weekend."
Parents Weekend was an invasion, you just try and tell her otherwise!

She wasn't going to talk her out of it. Kitty liked punching too.
And here was a fishbowl, Rosa. With a bendy straw.
no subject
She did, however, considering just ignoring the straw all together.
"I should probably go dust out the office before the weekend, now that I think about it."

She was a supportive friend d.

"There should always be more time for punching," she said, "no matter what the circumstances.
"Maybe that's what I should do tomorrow," she added, thoughtfully, with a sigh and a significant sip of her ridiculous drink. "Hit up the gym. See how long it takes me to reduce a punching bag to fluff."
Because she hadn't destroyed nearly enough stuff since Monday morning.

She felt like it might be an event?

She leaned in for another sip from her drink, a long one, because she obviously had a thought just then and figured the more she sipped, the more she'd be able to figure out if it was a good thought or a terrible one.
She came out of the sip still not sure, but she figured she'd maybe make a venture that way, anyway.
"Speaking of Clint," she said, leaning forward a little with her arms folded in front of her, "you two have been together on this stupid island for a while, right? So you guys have probably had at least one or two cases where this stupid island made things all....awkward..." Yeah, asking this was conclusively a terrible idea now, but it was sort of too late, "...relationship-wise...right?"
no subject
It still wasn't fun.
