Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Wednesday [10/09].
Amaya had woken up that morning feeling very, very different, yes, yeah, sure, but also feeling very, very pleased and a little bit smug, because you'd better believe that, after Monday's movie class, she'd went and made sure she was ready in the event that the pendulum decided to swing the other way. Because she'd been here long enough to assume that the pendulum was pretty much always swinging, so when she woke up in a body that would honestly feel a bit silly in her usual garb, she was prepared.
Trousers were a bit funny, though, weren't they? Seemed if you had all that extra equipment down there, you'd want to give it space, but, at the same time, they did keep everything nicely contained, which would be helpful if you were moving around a lot.
These were all things she planned to figure out by the end of the day. She barely even wanted to bother waiting for her coffee before heading down to the shop, stoking up the forge, and getting to work because she was absolutely fascinated by the prospect of figuring out just how much adjustment would be needed for her to properly do her job when she wasn't her usual shape. Pros, con, benefits, hinderances. She'd work for a little bit, struggling quite a bit at first, and then stop to go and jot down a few notes in a notebook, and then get right back to it. She was determined that, by the end of the day, if she wasn't at least as good of a blacksmith still even with a new body, she'd at least be close.
After all, arms were still arms, but it was a bit more complicated than that. And the most difficult thing to get used to was her swing, which didn't seem to know quite what to do with itself when it didn't have breasts in the way. She didn't really think about them a whole lot when they were there, so it was a bit odd paying attention to them now that they weren't.
The Forge is open!
[[though I'm mostly afk until later; just wanted to get at least one of 'em up ]]
