Today was definitely the sort of day where Prompto was feeling he needed a good puppy pile, but, at the same time, he knew he was trying to pretend like everything was fine and Nina still not having contacted him, despite frequent peanut butter threats and subsequent proof of follow-through, so a puppy pile, unfortunately, would probably only make matters worse.

So he did the other thing he could do to help get his mind off of things, and that was trying to find as much work as possible to do around the shelter. There was, after all, never any shortage of that going around, and maybe Sidon was really onto something with those fish tanks. They took a lot of time, and a lot of attention...

...even if they were kind of gross.
