gave a boost to her already middling charismalooked a little bit weird for her.But hey! A whole week she got to spend in a totally new place! So that was exciting, right?

Not that anyone could tell, anyway, hopefully, bouncing a little on his toes in his usual anxious way, just ready to get going and find some good old distraction in a new, probably gorgeous place. Bring it onnnnnn!

On vacation this time?
Oh yeah, Nina was super down for that!
"And," she was saying to Foomy, "this will be a grand adventure because I didn't have time to read up on where we're going!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

So, rather than sulk about her brand-new fiancée being off-world on a mission without her (and she got it, they needed to keep it a small group and she wasn't totally tuned in to the situation anyway), here she was, ready to play chaperone for the week.
One large duffel bag and one very expensive-looking rolling suitcase were at her feet; she'd learned to dial her trip-packing down to a reasonable level since she'd been a student here.
No, really, this was a reasonable level, if you had ever seen how much stuff she used to bring on these trips as a teenager.

She was trying not to be nervous, especially since it wasn't like there was anything to be nervous about.

That suitcase was settled at his feet as he hung back a bit while they waited, getting the most out of his dart because fuck all knew what the smoking situation was going to be, reading through one of those language books and going over a few helpful phrases in Spanish, both in his head and, on occassion, out loud.
And his Spanish pronounciation was just as stilted and terrible as his French, but he didn't seem too bothered by it. Especially on account of the fact that some people might even say the same thinga bout how he pronounced his English, too.
