"Sorry, guys. This is one of those weeks that we're watching whatever the player wants to show us, apparently. I'm not sure if it's the squirrels or the gremlins or just the DVD thing itself this time, but I guess it missed some of you. So - enjoy?"

He pressed play.

Amaya? Scouring the snacks table today in eager hopes of something that was coffee and not fake blood?

She knew it was in vain, and, hey, at least she had tea to hold her over, but it just was not the same, and the only thing that had saved her was that she'd actually bothered to go on over to the mainland for a change, because desperate times called for desperate measures, and she wasn't going to be getting any quality work done without her coffee, anyway.

For now, though, popcorn and a soda should do just fine.

Chips? Check. Drink-- well, there was soda, which Fjord shrugged and helped himself to. So that was also a check.

That popcorn was forever going to be ignored by the man with the tusks, yes.

Amaya'd had her fill of vacation but was definitely on a bit of a boat kick recently, so she didn't know what Peter was even apologizing for because this was great! She kind of preferred the one with spaceships rather than actual ships a bit better, sure, but that was only because she could expect much better and often more explosions with those. This was good, too, though!

Now this was more like it. Fjord sat back with a grin on his face while he watched this movie, occasionally nitpicking a little bit of ship trivia here or the logistics of managing that in a longboat there... but overall? He'd take this.

Gave him that much more incentive to want to get a boat, really.
