So, another Halloween was over and judging from his jog around the island this morning, the island had already moved on, and people were discussing Thanksgiving or even Christmas plans.

Everyone that is, except the Troopers. Who'd been acting kind of shifty all week. Like they'd been hiding something. Liam finally broke down and- well, no, he didn't ask about it. But he followed Ralph from a discreet distance as he saw the Trooper head towards the evidence room and make a beeline for the back corner, where he pulled out a... bag of cat food? From one of the filing boxes. And dumped it in a bowl. Moments later, a fluffy black cat slunk out of the shadows and started chowing down.

Having caught Ralph red-handed, Liam demanded an explanation. Turned out that one of the cats had apparently stuck around after last week's sudden 'invasion', and the Troopers had been feeding it the whole time. Liam just sighed (mostly an act, he'd kind of liked having the cats around) and told Ralph to move the food dish to the sheriff's office.

Apparently the station had a cat now!
