The rocky bits- Saturday afternoon
The thing about largely teaching yourself things was that a lot of lessons started with "Can I already do that?" So after seeing Octavia's sword trick the other day, she decided to head to the rocky bits today, where she could find a spot to sit far enough from porgs so that she could check up on them without being distracted by them- or where they wouldn't get in the way- and then picked up a rock that would fit in the palm of her hand.
A moment later the rock was in the air a few feet in front of her, and she started working on directing it, waving her hand as she directed it in arcs, testing her reach and then bringing it back to her hand before sending it flying again. Honestly, it was a weirdly fun way to spend an afternoon.
