Now that the heist was over, Rosa was pretty much going back to just listening to radio reports in one fell swoop during her desk shift at the station. Which was a shame, because, if she'd had listened over the weekend, she'd have known about the cat.

And she'd have known better than to bring the dog.

But Arlo 2 was still feeling antsy, and Rosa liked to take advantage of bringing her when she could, when the island was quiet like this and she didn't have to worry about the adorable little dummy getting into something that they'd both regret, and it was just nice having her at the station sometimes, and she'd gotten really good attacking trooper boots rather than just licking them.

Now there was a cat, though, and apparently it was a station cat, which wouldn't be a problem if this apparently new station cat had been a little more receptive to the insanely eager puppy that needed to make a new friend right now, even if that meant chasing that new friend around every single corner of the station.

Hey, at least the new cat was now really, really familiar with anything remotely high and out of reach around the station as possible? And eventually, Arlo 2 did sort of stop for a bit, and they'd at least have some peace for as long as that cat was sitting on that particular shelf and Arlo 2 remained parked on her butt right underneath it, never taking her eyes off the damn thing.

So this should be fun.
