Even though Rosa figured the more she exposed Arlo 2 to the station cat, the quicker it would become less of a problem, she just did not want to deal with it today, and so the dog was at home and the cat...
...the cat had decided that sprawled out across Rosa's desk was the best place for napping today, managing to somehow cover the whole thing all at once despite not being a terribly large cat, but that was just the physics-bending nature of cats to be exactly where you didn't want them to be at all times.
She sighed, considered the cat, considered the fact that she didn't feel like dealing with that today, either, so she just remade some coffee (despite the full pot sitting on the burner; Ralph made it; she wasn't dealing with that, either), poured herself a cup, and then kicked back and relaxed in her chair, and decided to use this to her advantage and just blame the cat on any lack of work being done on her part.
While having staring contests with the cat. Which Rosa was winning almost every time.
The cat, of course, was letting her win, but Rosa didn't need to know that.
