Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Wednesday [11/13].
The forge had definitely felt a bit too quiet lately for Amaya's taste; obviously, it had everything to do with business just being a bit slow, and absolutely nothing to do with anything else, what else could there be, certainly nothing involving that second anvil in her shop that would be growing mighty cold if it weren't for her own diligence in making sure to use then both equally when she worked...
Too quiet, but there was nothing to fill up a forge with encouraging sounds like a good project. The roar of the fire, the gush of the bellows, the steady pounding of hammer on steel and, occassionally, because this was Amaya, the droning song of a slightly overlarge buzzsaw.
With all the noise and well-to-do she was throwing into it today, one might assume that whatever she was working on was something really big and impressive, but then that person would be wrong, because she was doing all that for just one little dagger.
It was going to be an exceptionally nice dagger, damascus-style Tanalorian steel where the colors would swirl and catch the light like an oil slick, the blade with more curves than a Llewdor tavern wench, but it probably did make one wonder if the buzzsaw, at least, was entirely necessary.
Amaya would wholeheartedly insist that it was.
