"Let me get that for you, boss," Ali said, grabbing the cooler out of Duke's hands the moment he came in. "Got something special for us, right? Mmmm, can't wait!"
"Looking snazzy today, boss!" Billy said, as he mopped the floor by the freezer. "Dig the whole 'faded Hawaiian shirt' look. It definitely doesn't look like you had an accident with a bottle of bleach."
Duke stared at them suspiciously, then turned to Greg at the stove. "What's going on?"
"They're trying to make sure you don't burn them in effigy," Greg said.
"Don't worry about the tentacle monster, boss!" Billy said, mopping a little harder at a suspicious green stain. "We've got it handled!"
"They're . . . really bad at it," Duke said.
"Yep," said Greg.
