Look at that, Lucifer! Eric was 1) working on a Saturday night while 2) renting out the back room!

To a bunch of Force-sensitive weirdos in a place where axe throwing was allowed, but DETAILS.

Eric was quite pleased with himself.

Up early for timezones!

Jaina didn't get to get away much anymore, and had been here for exactly one day over homecoming since everything blew up. So of course she was here, and glad to be away and seeing people, and ooh, were those axes?

Anyway she had a drink and was looking for people and would totally be throwing axes at some point.

As narrated, Jaina absolutely made it over to the axe-throwing, where her aim was freakishly good and the few times she dismiss she looked incredibly annoyed.

Sabine wasn't entirely sure she knew what she was doing here, aside from just being curious. She didn't know many of the people who came in for these, and she was too young to drink here, but it was good for people-watching, so she could get something non-alcoholic and find somewhere to sit and hang out for a while.

It wasn't like it was the first time Rey had gone to one of these. She had however missed last year's, and had gone through just a few changes since then, and she wasn't sure if that was going to change how she interacted with people at all.

Especially since her interactions typically meant just watching everyone until someone talked to her and being fine if no one did.

She was going to start off doing that. She'd see who all showed up.

Jaina was kind of on the lookout for Rey. Anakin had told her the situation, which had struck enough of a nerve to leave her a little invested. This was the perfect situation to seek her out, though, and since she knew most of the people here, it wasn't hard to figure her out.

"Rey, right?"

And here we go. It wasn't weird at all to have someone she didn't know know who she was here.

"Yes? Hi."

"I'm Jaina," she said. "Anakin's granddaughter."

That Rey recognized immediately, and actually helped put her at ease a little more.

"Oh! You're the one who sent the training supplies. Thank you for that."

"I help how I can," Jaina said. She had a school full of stuff, it wasn't a big deal at all. "You and I should talk."

And there went feeling at ease! "About what?"

She could make a couple vague guesses.

"Jedi things. Destiny. You know. Things we probably don't want to talk about at a party." She knew she didn't want to get into it here. There were some tough subjects she knew she had to get into. "Do you have some time tomorrow?"

Rey nodded. "I work tomorrow, but I should have some time."

Terrifying as that suddenly was...

But look how friendly Jaina was being! "Okay. Coffee, tomorrow morning? I'm buying."

It was the Empire's money anyway.

"Okay," Rey said, a little hesitantly. "Why do I feel like I'm in trouble?"

"You're not," Jaina smiled. "Exactly the opposite. I just make people nervous."

If she sounded proud of that, well.

"Enjoy your night, I'll see you tomorrow."

Tahiri could hardly turn down an opportunity to visit, could she? That didn't happen often enough these days. So here she was, looking around to see if there were any new faces she didn't recognize: the traditional game of the old-school Fandom Jedi alumni.

[OOC: At D&D for the next few hours so will be slow until later!]

Tahiri had seen Jaina go over to Rey, and she knew perfectly well how good Jaina was at making people nervous even when she wasn't trying to.

"Hi," she said, smiling in a way she hoped would put her former student more at ease. "How have you been?"

Rey paused, and, a little amused, said, "I can't possibly give a short answer to that question. How are you?"

Anakin was actually a little later than usual because he had to have an extended discussion with Juliet about how, no, she couldn't come to the vampire bar, thank you ever so much.

So now Anakin was nursing a very large whiskey and wondering if he could ship her to Hapes for the summer again.

After dropping the kids off with Rory, Ben was in the bar getting...well, a fancy soda. He was afraid that if he drank anything, he'd nod off right at the bar.

Bantha, it turned out, was not an amazing sleeper.
