Was Éponine asking why there was a whole carrot cake sitting by the postal scale when she came in this morning? No, she was not.
Was it a good carrot cake?
Yes, in fact, it was, and she was carefully portioning out pieces for herself to nibble on during the day, while putting an equal sized piece away to take home with her later. After taking it into the break room, where it was out of sight of the customers, because did you think she had any intention whatsoever of sharing this cake?
[OOC: IDEK. Apparently it's National Carrot Cake Day or something. Open, but definitely going to be very slow until I get home in the evening.]
