Rey had been hoping that yesterday was it, so when she could tell Fandom was still doing this this morning, she finally gave up and called home. There wasn't any reason not to, she was tired of this, it had been a terrible week and she missed her friends even if she was resolutely not thinking about them right now, and mostly, it'd been dumb of her to not go last week. Her priorities were bad, and she couldn't do that. So she had a portal out after her shift.
Luckily there was plenty to do, since this week always saw an uptick in randomly smashed and broken items that Rey suspected were the victims of random frustration. Which she understood! She herself was a bit of a door slammer when she was mad or frustrated and had doors to slam. But for instance, what has this toaster ever done?
