Things seemed to be winding back down to normal, which was good, it helped Astrid feel slightly less adrift in the world, though she never really expected to feel anchored in any way, shape, or form anymore. Still, the amount of suggestive-looking flowers had gone down severely in the shop by now, it seemed, and there were no longer any Valentine's Day orders to boggle them all down with work, which meant that Astrid planned to take advantage of a lot of free time at the shop today by cracking open some of the anatomy books she'd borrowed from the library to practice her work on musculature and the physical form.

Look, she wanted to get it right, and she didn't do a whole lot of body work in her art; if she drew people, she usually focused on faces, things like that. So, outside of just asking Grog to pose for her, which would ruin the surprise, this was the next best thing to getting the piece right.

She really wished she could figure out if she was dedicating so much attention to this little project that was just a casual mention in a brief conversation just because it gave her something to focus on or if there was some other underlying drive to do it, but she couldn't. And she supposed it ultimately shouldn't matter, but it really made her wonder...

Either way, Covent Garden is open!
