Blackstone Foundry and Forge; Wednesday [02/19].
There was a new hole in the weapons wall that Amaya was eager to fill (not dirty; not anymore, anyway!), so she figured she'd use some of her extra time between little jobs here and there to put together some damascus steel again. It looked good when it was finished, would make for a nice piece for display, and its was just a whole lot of fun for her to make, even if she did have to sort of push aside a lot of thoughts, mostly about waters and waves, when she did it.
It was good, though. Better pound away thoughts like that this week than last, and it was easy enough for her to just focus on the pattern and plan out what sort of shape she might go for. She was thinking something in the lines of schimitar, for some reason, very broad, that could really show off the detailing on the steel.

[[ i was thinking of moving Amaya's posts to Thursdays, but, dammit, I just like the neatness of having all my grown-ass adults spamming for a full block of posts at once ]]
