Community Center Class: Tactics Pancake!!! | Monday
Nina was still grumpy, but having supper with her brother last night had made her feel a little better (even if, like, they hadn't really talked about why she was grumpy) and anyway, like, most of her class wasn't going to notice her mood.
(She was… pretty sure that Bus Dean could, but also didn't know if he'd say anything about it.)
In any case, though, that was a problem for after class.
"Compatriots!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" she said, to all appearances cheerful from where she sat upon her desk as if it were a throne. The room was covered in chalk, as per normal, with two large bubble-like configurations drawn on each side of the classroom amidst all of the intricately designed spells.
"Like, I hope you all had fun on your break weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It's time to, like, see what dreadful things have been occurring to you all in the meantime……………………. Team Exploration, please standing in the left-most clear area and Team Ringbearer, on the right, thank you kindly!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Nina waited for them to straggle their way to their respective areas—and arbitrarily assigning places to people who hadn't shown up two weeks ago, keeping the numbers roughly even—before she invoked her spells and the room shifted, the chalk coming alive, and then…
Then they were all back on her deserted island.
Team Ringbearer was standing around their campsite.
Team Exploration was decidedly not.
"Let's get started," she said sweetly.

Listen to the Lecture?
New Compatriots?
We're Still Adventuring on a Deserted Island!
Are you having fun yet?
Team Ringbearer!
Where do you go looking today? Do you even try? Or do you just sit around the fire with your sunburns getting worse and wondering about when the other shoe is going to drop regarding the obviously evil sparkles that sank into your bodies the last time?
Either way, while the day is quiet (aside from the excitement of a Really Determined bird attempting to make off with your belongings one piece at a time), the night…
The undead strike.
You fight valiantly—or not—but alas aside from one* of you, who escapes by the skin of your teeth, the rest of you are taken!
The one of you that's left gathers your bearings, your weapons, and then trails after the undead, hoping to rescue your companions.
Or you're just hoping they have better food. Though why you'd think that…
[*One person may escape and this person is going to be the first person who wants it enough to claim it in the OOC thread, yo.]
Re: Team Ringbearer!
He as the rogue of the party, after all.
Which came in handy for sneaking after the group as they were shuffled off to wherever the undead had been hiding for the two weeks they were supposed to have been searching the island. He had a feeling he was about to find out what happened to the other group at least.
The Undead Camp: The Cages
Who make you work the bone-breaking labour of the mines on scant food and little rest.
And now, as you blearily try to get rest, your fresher, more energetic compatriots are dumped into your communal cage, stripped of all weapons and tools. The cage is locked once more, before any of you can do anything about it.
Inside the cage is naught but a few lumpy straw pallets, the far area has been roughly curtained off with a rag, hiding the chamber pot but not the smell of it, and there's a few cups of stale, stagnant water to drink.
The Undead Camp: The Fires
The plight of your compatriots bugs you—and you see that one of the undead holds the keys to their cage.
Alas and alack, this undead is near the fires and has many a companion around to get aid from.
What will you do?
There are rocks and small hiding places, but the shortest distance to the undead you need is still a good twenty feet of uncovered ground. But, armed with your wits, your weapons, and your desire to free your friends… you've got to do this!
Re: The Undead Camp: The Fires
He should have tried harder to catch that one bird.
The Undead Camp: The Aftermath
Well, this will be something decided by the events before…
Talk to Professor Argentum!
OOC
Claim your FREEDOM from UNDEAD HOARDS here, should you wish. Only one of you may apply, limited time offer, blah blah blah…
