Trooper Station; Monday Afternoon [03/16].
Rosa was coming in a little later that day, since she'd promised to help out with Flower Boy's dumb class earlier, but, when she finally did come in, there definitely a blanket fort on one side of the station. A blanket fort made mostly of black and white blankets and soft rounded pillows, that was a pretty decent size and well constructed, which made Rosa believe that the troopers had nothing to do with the actual construction of the thing.
They definitely had everything to do with the sign that was posted right outside the entrance of it that boldly declared, "NO DETECTIVES ALLOWED."
Which was more than fine. Because now Rosa could just sit at her desk with the cocoa that was there (the fort had, it turned out, been built around the coffee maker, which in the end was just doing her a favor) and watch and wait for the inevitable moment when one of those dummies managed to knock it all down and then scramble and struggle to actually get out from underneath it.
