Community Center Class: Tactics Pancake!!! | Monday
"Good evening, everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Welcome back!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
Nina would deny it but, really, after the effort of yesterday's party on her and then on setting class up and the magic required for that? Well, she was more than a little exhausted.
That was why it was a good thing that once she'd invoked the spells all she had to do was sit at the front of the classroom, wrapped in a blanket (mostly because despite her efforts they were still kind of… everywhere) and talk.
"After a daring and determined escape, " Nina began, despite the fact that the escape was just being narratived through rather than played, alas, but she had to move the plot along. "You have arrived at the border port town of Frittatan!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After a night spend cleaning yourselves up after your ignominious capture at the hands of the undead, it's a deep comfort to be back amongst your familiar breakfasty people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
And, indeed, the town bustled with breakfast people. Poptarts were talking to parfaits. Quiche and bowls of oatmeal haggled over produce. Childish bowls of cereal chased each other about in endless games of chase.
It was gloriously nonsensical and incredibly, improbably idyllic for a port town. Or for a border town, for that matter.
Nina didn't much care about that. She cared a lot more about the fact that, if you looked really closely at the buildings and fountains and benches that it was clear that everything, including the grass, was made of blankets, couch cushions, and pillows.
The fact that it actually looked like a village was a sheer testament to Nina's determination to make it so.
"Now, clean and refreshed, it is time to go information gathering!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
