Covent Garden Flowers; Tuesday [04/14].
Astrid should have seen it coming; prom had left her feeling incredibly maudlin over the weekend, and, despite a heavy regimen of sleeping too much and finally taking the plunge in covering her last work on the wall with with white paint to prime it for her next artistic vision, it still clung to her by Tuesday.
Everything seemed pretty normal at the shop, though, amd she wondered if that was just because they actually were normal, or of she was just a little too numb that day to notice anything otherwise. But it didn't really matter, she supposed, as long as she got the orders taken care of, and there was tea being made, and she tried to figure out what to paint next by sketching in her downtime, but nothing, nothing seemed right.
Still, she figured she was out of bed, and that was a step forward, even if only to step forward and stand stand there dazed for a while in the harsh sunlight glare of the world.
Covent Garden is open!
