Well, yesterday had certainly been... a day that had happened.
And not even in a bad way! In an "oh my god, we found a plesiosaur" kind of way. The students had successfully subdued it, and after a few phone calls to some family friends, Verity had managed to secure transportation for the plesiosaur up to the Cascades mountain range, where it would be re-homed in a lake. They'd left that morning, actually, hence why Liam kept checking his Global for the occasional text update in between doing actual work.
