Knowing from last week how little good it did to just try to remove any suggestion that the upcoming Mother's Day was a thing around a flower shop, Astrid didn't even bother this week. And since she knew next week would probably be when things would get really interesting in that respect around here, she was dedicating herself to just sticking to her drawing. Which wasn't that hard, really. She had a new subject in Alluka and her flouncy, baby-doll dresses and her nameless bunny, who Astrid drew in company with a curious and hyper-realistic Dürer rabbit, the two of them uncertain as to whether they would be friends or enemies, while the rest of the pages were filled will wings of various kinds, but mostly dragonfly, with the light catching them in different ways.

And, eventually, she shifted to detailing flower petals, because it was becoming clear throughout the day that some of the flowers around Astrid were getting mildly jealous that they weren't getting more attention from her and her pencil.
