Astrid actually had a workshop today, right near the smack-dab middle of the day, so she wasn't sure if that meant she should just take an extra long lunch or whatever, or figure out if there'd be a different day that would be better for her. Today, though, she'd figured she'd try the whole 'shut down the shop for a little bit while she was in class', to return afterward in the afternoon (with some lunch, probably), and see how that worked. It would be nice to have a little break, if anything. Not that the flowers weren't great, but it could get a little boring, especially now that a major flower holiday was over.

She was sketching a lot to try to keep her mind off that major flower holiday and the flowers she had ended up sending, though it wasn't working very well.

For all she knew, they probably never even got there. What did they do to flowers you sent to someone in prison? It's not like she could imagine they'd let them keep them. And what would some random WASPy family in Connecticut do with some anonymous flowers sent for their wayward failed actress daughter, either, for that matter?

At least she felt she knew exactly what Ron would think about the flowers he got. And that was something.
