The Park, Wednesday Evening
With a piano to soon be delivered and a bookshelf ordered, Lucille had what she needed here. Those things, and the people she had met so far, couldn't chase away the loneliness though, as if a part of her had been permanently removed, which demanded her to adapt.
You couldn't save me. I was left to die alone.
Thomas had never spoken those words, but she could hear them in her head.
I couldn't. You were.
She felt nothing, which was probably for the best. Two ducks walked past her and she let herself imagine what it would feel like to wring their necks.

"It's a nice night for being out," she offered, conversationally, as she strolled by, a paw passing in the air in greeting.

"I suppose it is," Lucille said. "At least the ducks and flamingos approve."

She smiled, watching the birds for a moment, before she said, "I can't imagine they'd have much to complain about in the first place. They seem to live a rather charmed and peaceful existence here."

"I don't believe we've met." She would have remembered. "My name is Lucille Sharpe."

...unacceptable, really, but she would think on that a little more later.
"I'm a dragon knight of Burmecia," she answered, although she didn't expect it to mean anything to Lucille; it hadn't meant anything to anyone on this island so far. "Although I have left my home in search for my mentor, who has disappeared without trace or trail. I don't suppose you have ever crossed paths with a man by the name of Sir Fratley, have you? He would be Burmecian," she gestured to herself, "like me, which I understand would be a rarity indeed in this world."

Judging mostly by the fact that Freya was a giant rat, but Lucille wasn't going to be rude and point that out.

And even though she had expected a response like that, she still sighed a little, shaking her head. "I figured as much. I suppose I will just have to keep being diligent and hope that if I cannot find Sir Fratley here, then I can at least get home and find him there."

She looked at Freya. "Depending on what you find interesting."

Even if it definitely felt like she was wasting her time.
"What did you study?" she asked. "When you were a student here?"

because the player doesn't," Lucille replied. "But I remember some of the people I met in them."
