Her new piano was going to be delivered in the evening, which meant Lucille was a little distracted, but she still made sure the shelves were stocked and looked neat - although a bit of dust only added to the atmosphere, didn't it? - and she added some neatly handwritten signs.
She had brought a book, a modern one about scents and how they affected people, although it was all very nice and pleasant. That was to be expected, of course but Lucille felt there ought to be a chapter on how to induce panic, fear and anger. Life was complex, after all, and not everyone deserved a calm mood and peaceful sleep.
