Apparently the flowers were getting very into this whole music thing. The lilies had found drums somewhere and were accompanying the orchid on its electric guitar. The roses were being a bit snooty about the whole thing and were murmuring among themselves, but the daisies were singing along cheerfully.

But all of them went silent when one of the chrysanthemums did a beautiful descant solo.

Nell couldn't help but applaud. And wonder about what would happen when an order came in that would mean she had to split them up and send some of them off.
